Job description
Currently we are seeking to hire a Shop Sales Assistant to join our team in Ballymena.
As a Sales Assistant you will work at the till, maintain a clean store and well stocked shelves. And supporting the Store Manager in daily store operations.

Responsibilities
- Stocking.
- Unpacking deliveries.
- Rearranging shelves.
- Till.
- Assisting customers with their inquiries.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the store.
- Performing heavy lifting tasks, such as moving crates of stock or large items.
- Assisting customers with their inquiries, providing product information, and offering assistance with purchases.
- Operating the cash register, processing transactions accurately, and handling payments.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the store, including stocking shelves and arranging displays.
- Performing heavy lifting tasks, such as moving crates of stock or large items, to ensure adequate inventory levels and proper store organisation.
- Adhering to store policies and procedures, including following safety protocols and maintaining a tidy and welcoming store environment.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Retail sales.
- Conversational english language level is essential.
- Full flexibility is required, including the availability to work on day shifts: 5 days a week from Monday to Sunday, which may include bank holidays.
- Proficiency in one of the Eastern European languages (Polish, Ukrainian, Romanian, Lithuanian, Croatian, etc.)
Desirable Skills
- Food retail.
- Sales experience is preferred.
