My client is a top 100 UK law firm and is seeking an Associate to join their Property Disputes team in Oxford. As an Associate, you will play a crucial role in consistently delivering high-quality legal advice in a commercially astute manner, ensuring exceptional client service. Your responsibilities will extend to supporting business development activities to enhance the firm and team's reputation for excellence.
The Role:
- Manage a diverse caseload encompassing both residential and commercial disputes, with occasional involvement in more complex matters alongside Partners.
- Cultivate strong client relationships by managing expectations regarding options, outcomes, risks, and timelines.
- Take ownership of delegated project aspects, meeting deadlines and contributing to budgetary management.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, offering technical, business, and general advice.
The Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
- Prior experience in general property litigation is essential, with exposure or interest in specialisms like service charge disputes, TOLATA claims, or property-related professional negligence being highly desirable.
- Ability to manage individual caseloads, delegate work effectively, and demonstrate strong client management skills.
- Enthusiastic about business development and marketing within the legal sector.
