Are you an experienced Financial Controller looking for an interim opportunity to lead the financial reporting process and year–end project for a small to medium–sized Social Housing provider? Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and auditable financial information during this critical period?

My client is seeking an Interim Financial Controller on a three to six month contract to join their team for the upcoming year end. This role will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting process, acting as the key point of contact for auditors, and ensuring the smooth delivery of year–end activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial reporting process and year–end project.
• Act as the main liaison with auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Take responsibility for the accuracy and auditability of financial information leading up to year–end.
• Manage a small team of management accountants, coordinating and consolidating their work to prepare the annual accounts.

Based in Buckinghamshire once per week, with the rest of the time remote, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Either qualified or QBE with proven experience delivering year–end projects in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills gained within the Not for Profit sector.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
