A Vacancy at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.

A fantastic opportunity has come up to join our Surgical and Renal Team here at Kent and Canterbury Hospital. This is a well established team that work across the surgical and renal wards and also ITU, HDU and when required, our Haematology ward. This would suit a Physiotherapist who has a broad range of experience and is adaptable & dynamic and enjoys a varied client group.

This clinical specialist position offers the exciting prospect of helping to lead the ongoing development of this service collaboratively with a well-established multidisciplinary team.

This post holder will help lead, develop and evaluate surgical and renal Physiotherapy services at Kent and Canterbury Hospital and also assist on ITU and HDU and our haematology ward.

They will provide therapeutic clinical expertise, high quality advice and support to the multi-disciplinary team. Clinical supervision, appraisal and teaching will be key components of this role.

They will demonstrate excellent communication and collaborative working, along with other clinical specialists across the Health Economy, in order to provide a high quality, efficient service.

In conjunction with the Clinical and Site Lead they will ensure clinical governance targets are met, including the development of clinical standards and protocols, specialist evidence based practice, audit, research, clinical and non-clinical risk management.
