Salesforce Administrator
Reports to: Lead Project Manager
Location: Newmarket - Hybrid - 2-days on-site, 2-days WFH
Hours: 32 hours across a 4-day week (no salary sacrifice)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Product: Group level - Wonde, Evouchers & Secure Schools

Job snapshot:
As Salesforce Administrator, you’ll play a key role in the building and maintenance of the group's Salesforce capabilities. You’ll be responsible for providing expert guidance relating to the platform and will assist in adapting best practices through knowledge sharing, coaching and leading by example.
This is a newly created position where you will be provided with a genuine opportunity to create impact and drive system efficiencies across the group.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage the maintenance, upgrade and delivery of Salesforce across the group
- Perform daily maintenance tasks, including user management, data import & export and system configuration
- Work collaboratively with different departments and teams to configure and customise Salesforce to meet their specific needs
- Create and manage workflow rules, process automation and approval processes
- Oversee all aspects of user and licence management, including the setting up of new users, account deactivation, permissions and public groups
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support key performance indicators related to the platform
- Develop and define internal Salesforce policies, guidelines and procedures
- Create, prepare and deliver reports on the platform's performance
- Provide ongoing user training and where appropriate develop training materials to support user engagement and user efficiency
- Understand user experience and develop solutions that support user efficiency
- Identify and support requirements generated by users and stakeholders
- Conduct platform surveys and reviews to improve system performance and engagement
- Participate in internal and external meetings acting as our Salesforce subject matter expert
Requirements
What we’re hoping you’ll bring:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a Salesforce Administrator position
- Experience with at least two Salesforce implementations
- Certified Salesforce Administrator
- Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems
- Demonstrable experience supporting Salesforce upgrades/extensions and ensuring successful integration; for example Sales Engagement and Marketing Cloud
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities
- A broad spectrum of experience covering, technical responsibilities, data importing and strategic planning
- The ability to manage stakeholders of different disciplines and levels of seniority with the ability to coach technical and non-technical individuals
- Ability to champion and implement new processes and look for improvement in current ways of working
- Experience in defining and tracking key metrics centred around the success of Salesforce
- Hands-on experience supporting agile teams in a progressive environment
- A Proven track record of ability to work cross-functionally with teams to execute system releases and upgrades
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to secure stakeholder buy-in
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects within ambitious timelines
