Are you a Landscape Gardener looking for a new challenge
Role Summary
The role is to work between both the garden maintenance and the landscaping at Mill Farm as such you will be knowledgeable about scrubs and trees but also lawn care and associated tasks such as scarification aeration and top dressing.
Main Duties
- To work within agreed budgets and plans
- Install and maintain seasonal plants
- Mow trim and fertilise green spaces mulch edge and weed gardens prune and trim trees and bushes
- Maintain all gardening equipment and machinery such as mowers trimmers and leaf blowers
- Monitor and maintain the health of plants
- Deal with pest problems that could damage plants
- Keep gardens and green spaces clear from debris and litter
Occasional Duties
- Work additional hours as and when required to meet the needs of the business
- Travel to other sites such as Cark Manor when required
- Carry out additional duties as are within the scope and purpose of the job
About You
- Previous experience as a landscape gardener Essential
- Have a knowledge of health and safety with respect to gardening and landscaping and the safe use of and the risk associated with machinery and equipment
- High attention to detail taking personal responsibility for the quality of service they deliver
- Excellent time management skills with high standards of personal conduct
- A flexible approach to work
- Value and respect colleagues and other members of staff
- Live within 40 minutes of Mill Farm
