Are you an experienced HR professional looking for an exciting opportunity to lead strategic initiatives and shape the future of HR within a dynamic organisation?
Our client, headquartered in Brighton with a strategic presence in London's Canary Wharf, is seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to join their team. As a key member of their senior management team, you will spearhead HR projects, drive employee engagement, and ensure the effective management of their workforce across multiple locations. The organisation operates two distinct entities, with headcounts of 150 and a flexible headcount of approximately 500 agency workers. Operating within the business services industry, the business is a 24/7 operation.
This is a full generalist role with a blend of operational and strategic responsibilities. It is a newly created role reporting into the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead strategic HR initiatives to enhance employee engagement and address organisational needs.
• Collaborate with line managers to identify training needs and facilitate upskilling programs.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
• Review and optimise pay and benefits to ensure market alignment and fairness.
• Foster a positive work culture promoting diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in an HR managerial or similar role.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment legislation.
• Ability to develop and lead HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics.
The role can be based from either their Brighton or London office and flexible hybrid working is available.
