Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a Health & Safety Advisorto work in their leading facility in Telford.

For the successful Health & Safety Advisor our client is offering:

1. Competitive annual salary of up to £30,000 Depending on experience
2. Working Day shifts - 9am-5pm Monday to Friday
3. Permanent opportunities available within a well respected Manufacturer
4. Free on site Parking
5. 25 days holiday + bank holidays

The role - Health & Safety Advisor:

1. Provide guidance on Health & Safety legislation
2. Liaising with other H&S representatives across different sites
3. Plan, assist and participate in Internal Inspections, including Safety & Environmental audits, then advising on remedial actions required 
4. Ensure that all personnel are fully aware of health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
5. Review policies and procedures
6. Making recommendations and generating action plans to ensure compliance across the Company.
7. Identify any training requirements required for employees in relation to health, safety & environmental compliance.
8. Managing H&S projects and providing updates to Senior Management
9. Compiling and updating COSHH data across sites
10. Reviewing safe systems of work and risk assessments
11. Overseeing investigations into workplace accidents and ensuring correct actions are taken

What our client is looking for in a Health & Safety Advisor:

1. NEBOSH or IOSH Certificate- ESSENTIAL
2. Keen eye for detail 
3. Strong communication skills
4. Able to liaise with colleagues at all levels
5. Happy to be involved in a variety of projects
