Our clients offer a wide range of services within the construction industry including New Build Construction, Refurbishment, Property Development, Design & Build, Interior Fit-Out, Shop Fitting, Facilities Management, and much more.

They are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team to support their growth plans across various sectors, with 3+ years’ experience, and is capable of carrying out surveying duties on a million-pound projects.

The role is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Monday to Friday, full time, permanent position with progression opportunities, great benefits, and much more.

Day to day: 

• Taking off quantities from plans / drawings / specifications for tenders.
• Preparation of Bill of Quantities.
• Preparation of Sub-Contractor / Supplier packages. 
• Determine the financial needs of completing a project.
• Managing the handover of projects from pre-construction to construction team.
• Managing the commercial function through to final accounts.
• Ensure adequate project planning for the delivery team.
• Project cash flow based on the project plan and managing same.
• Supporting the Commercial Manager in compiling claims / significant variations.
• Compiling the final account on projects and negotiating these to agreement.

Experience:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• 3+ years full time experience in a surveying role.
• Experience in industry management software / accounts packages.
• Good knowledge and understanding of all Forms of Contracts (NEC / Bespoke / JCT).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence, CSR Card, MS Office.
