About Our Client

The client is a rapidly growing SME business in the FMCG space. This Customer Service Manager position is a vital role as you will be the face of the brand, answering any customer queries and adapting the Customer Care process as you see fit. You will also be responsible for hiring needs as the business and volumes will grow. The client are looking for someone hungry, eager to develop, with excellent communication skills. You will have a background in Customer Care either having had management experience or looking to take on this responsibility. You will have dealt with a fast paced, rapidly changing environment and are able to communicate effectively both internally and externally. You will also have a 'can-do' attitude - this is a family feel organisation where no job is too big or small and everyone works collaboratively.

Job Description

• Take full ownership of the Customer Care team
• Deliver top-tier customer care across all channels including social media
• Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner
• Meet business KPIs across the customer care department
• Conduct aftercare to ensure customer satisfaction and report back feedback where necessary
• Work collaboratively with teams across the business to make sure the customer experience is of the best standard possible
• Provide day to day administrative support within the office
• Conduct customer surveys to help shape future product development by feeding back to the marketing team

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will:

• Live locally to Hitchin - this role is based on site in Hitchin Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm
• System savvy - able to pick up new systems effectively
• Excellent attention to detail
• Be confident and take charge of the Customer Care process
• Have excellent people skills
