Beat Carnival is a carnival arts training, education and production company, committed to creating open and safe space for engaging with communities, learning arts skills and celebrating through carnival.
This post is to manage strategic transition of the Beat Carnival organisation through leadership succession in early 2025. The Transition Manager will ensure the organisation is put in good shape for the future.
The overall purpose of this post is to manage strategic transition of the Beat Carnival organisation in 2024 and 2025 through leadership succession in early 2025. In a period when both the Founder-Director and the Operations Manager will retire, the Transition Manager will ensure the organisation is put in good shape for the future. The fixed-term role will focus on the keys to moving forwards and manage a process that will result in new, permanent leadership, relevant strategy, fit-for-future-purpose business model, and new income generation. The post holder will support the wider work of Beat Carnival and will be responsible to the current Director.
