Job Title: Multi Skilled Bodyshop Technician

Location: Grays 

Salary: Up to £50,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) + bonus £70000 OTE + other excellent benefits listed below 

Monday to Friday - NO WEEKENDS!

They are actively looking for a MET Stripper Fitter for their Accident Repair Bodyshop in Wellingborough. 

 

About the Job 

As an experienced MET, you will be responsible for: 

• Carrying out all necessary mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs 
• Dismantling vehicles ready for the panel shop 
• Carrying out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work 
• Ordering replacement parts 
• Re-assembling the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition 

About You  

You must be able to: 

• Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready for agreed timescales 
• Work skillfully and safely under pressure 
• Carry out work in accordance with the manufacturer's specification 
• Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision 
• Be flexible in your approach 
• Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind 
• You will ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines; for example, wearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping all work areas clean and tidy.

This role will suit someone who is currently a MET Technician but also a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician who is looking for a slight change of role.

Our client are also willing to consider a Multi Skilled Bodyshop Technician, so someone who has experience in MET and Panel or MET and Paint.
