Job description
You have an engineering or science based degree, or equivalent experience, and direct experience performing System Safety engineering tasks using techniques defined in international standards such as SAE International ARP4761, MIL-STD-882, and DEF STAN 00-56.
You demonstrate the ability to conduct detailed Safety analyses of complex Systems, including Fault Tree Analysis, Common Mode Analysis and generating Safety Requirements to drive the design changes to enable a system to meet its safety objectives.
Of course, it’s not just about the technical! You consider yourself to have strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the experience and confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders within the business.
You also have a passion for guiding, influencing and developing future talent.

In addition to the “must-haves”, there are of course “nice-to-haves” which we would consider advantageous but not a deal breaker;
Knowledge of the following: ARP 4754, RTCA DO-178B/C and DO-254
Knowledge of processes leading to compliance with industry regulatory standards
Knowledge and experience of performing reliability analyses, Prediction and FMEA, on electronic/electrical systems
Ability to apply engineering fundamentals and System Safety engineering principles to a variety of product areas)
