As part of an exciting period for the team, we are hiring for a new role of Organic Search Manager to be based in either our Leeds or Manchester offices. As our Organic Search Manager, you will constantly be at the forefront of driving our clients’ organic performance, leading on strategy and providing detailed insights to drive performance. Acting as a senior member of the organic performance team, we are looking for someone who can regularly demonstrate an understanding of business objectives and craft strategies that will deliver consistently strong results, going above and beyond to provide exemplary client service whilst mentoring more junior members of the organic performance team and managing and developing direct reports.

You will act as a leader for the rest of the campaign team by showing the importance of the work being carried out, and its eventual impact. This role involves working closely with the Group Head of Organic Search to provide input into the future development of the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead on any organic/SEO projects that are required by our key clients, demonstrating a clear understanding of the objectives and composing a strategy to help the campaign team achieve those goals
• Taking the lead on client meetings to confidently present updates
• Conducting detailed analysis and working with client directors to proactively present key findings to clients
• Work closely with our specialist technical SEO, content and digital PR teams to ensure the execution of activity roadmaps
• Work with the Group Head of Organic Search on initiatives to help grow the reputation of the team within connective3 and also externally to the rest of the industry
• Take line management responsibility over one or more Organic Search Executives and organic strategists (as required), supporting their development within the team and owning personal development plans
• Support on – and potentially lead – new business pitches by working with the Sales & Marketing and Client Performance teams
• Provide accurate and detailed forecasting for clients
• Strengthen our organic search proposition and aid growth of the team by regularly contributing to connective3’s marketing activity through any method such as blog posts, commentary pieces, case studies etc.
• Act as a senior presence both within the organic and wider team and be an inspiration for other members of c3 in terms of how you conduct yourself and engage with clients
• Lead and direct account teams and ensure all team members understand the client’s objectives and the strategy you have set out
• Externally, be the main senior SEO contact for client teams and help them understand the commercial benefits of our proposed SEO activity
• Take ownership of the creation of client roadmaps and regularly check in on progress across all activity
• Know your client’s organic landscape better than anyone else; understand their challenges, what the key opportunities for growth are and what role SEO plays in their marketing activity
• Develop and own strong relationships with key client contacts to increase retention rates
