Science Teacher – SEN School – April 2024 Start
Are you a qualified and experienced Science teacher looking for a better work / life balance?
Do you want to support children with additional needs? Our special school in Bromley, Kent is seeking a creative and motivated Science Teacher to join our team.
As a Science Teacher, you'll take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs and ensure the delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximizes children's achievement and ability to develop.
You'll be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every child to reach their potential.
You will have Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent, and experience teaching and delivering Science lessons at KS3 and KS4.
Our school provides specialist education for children and young people aged from 5 to 19 years who have been diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) therefore, experience of working with students with ASC is desirable and would give applicants an advantage for this role.

Person Specification – Science Teacher
• Must have UK QTS
• Use a variety of teaching styles and approaches to meet individual needs
• Attainment of GCSE (or equivalent), grade C in English and Maths
• Committed to improving the lives of children and young people
