P/T-Health & Safety Officer

Leicester (LE5), Engineering company, 24hrs per week

£30-32k (pro rata)+ benefits + car park

Our client has been established for 100 years within the manufacturing automotive industry and is seeking a H&S officer who is happy to work part-time on Mondays and Fridays and an additional day through the week. This position would be ideal for a person who has a career in H&S and love to remain in this area on a part time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all Health & Safety activities on site
Maintain accurate Health & Safety records
Conduct Risk assessments and audits
Develop and implement H&S policies
Investigate accidents and incidents
Oversee some environmental safety aspects
Perform regular safety inspections
Generate detailed reports on safety performance
Provide training to all staff
Make recommendations for improvements
NEBOSH (ideally or equivalent needed)
