Are you ready for a dynamic leadership role? We are currently seeking a dedicated Operations Team Leader for our client based in Langley. As a crucial part of our Branch, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing Warehouse Operations & Transport. Collaborating closely with the Operations Manager and Transport Coordinator, you will be instrumental in maintaining operational excellence.
š° The salary ranges between Ā£33,000 - Ā£35,000 per annum however, this is dependent upon experience.
Key Responsibilities:
š„ Lead an experienced team to deliver outstanding customer service.
š Maintain the highest standards of safety, storage efficiency, and housekeeping in the warehouse and yard.
ā ļø Adhere to health & safety guidelines.
š¢ Keep the Operations Manager and Transport Department informed of any arising issues.
š Collaborate with the Transport Planner, assisting in daily duties such as printing and distributing pick notes, and issuing delivery notes.
š Process customer orders, and oversee loading and unloading of vehicles.
What We Are Looking For:
š¦ Knowledge and experience with stock management.
š¼ Basic admin and IT skills.
š Some knowledge of transport & distribution (desirable).
š¤ Collaborative mindset to work effectively with team members and across departments.
ā° Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
š Organised and efficient with excellent communication skills.
š Positive, can-do attitude.
What We Offer:
š° Salary ranging between Ā£33,000 - Ā£35,000 per annum dependent upon experience.
