Spire Parkway are currently recruiting a supplies coordinator for our Supplies team.

You don’t need a medical background, however some clinical knowledge is desirable. A background in supply chain and experience in a medical environment is also essential. This is a fast paced role, you will need to be a problem solver who can think outside of the box.

You will be a based in our Supplies team, however the daily job will be based in theatres, putting away stock and dealing with daily queries from theatre staff. The role will involve; Managing all relevant daily stock top up requests from the theatre department & throughout the hospital departments. Must be able to communicate to all levels in a confident manner. Assist in the receipt, checking, storage and distribution of goods throughout the hospital. Ensure good working relationships with Spire National Distribution Centre ( NDC ) and key suppliers to the Spire Hospital Group. To manage all Top-Up, X-Dock & stock on demand orders are processed as per the Supplies Training manual and in line with the NDC /departments requirements.

This is a full time post working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 07.00/08.00 – 15.00/16.00. Weekend days are required quarterly to complete hospital stock takes.

Full training is provided alongside support from the regional hub of 3 hospitals.
