Job Description

Are you a seasoned Site Manager with a passion for sustainability and a track record of delivering complex projects? Do you thrive in challenging environments, relish problem-solving, and possess the vision to drive continuous improvement? If so, this senior position could be your ideal next step.

Join our dedicated team and play a pivotal role in our commitment to sustainable building practices. You'll spearhead the day-to-day operations of high-profile retrofit projects, ensuring they're delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. But most importantly, you'll champion sustainability, pushing boundaries and implementing innovative solutions that enhance energy efficiency and comfort.

• Develop and implement strategic plans for assigned retrofit projects, aligning them with the company's overall sustainability goals.
• Lead and mentor a team of site managers and operatives, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and safety.
• Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in processes, materials, and techniques to achieve superior project outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with clients, internal departments, and external stakeholders, acting as a key ambassador for the company's sustainability initiatives.
• Oversee all aspects of pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases for assigned projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Manage budgets effectively, proactively identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns and ensuring projects stay on track financially.
• Implement robust quality control programs, ensuring all work meets the highest standards and specifications.
• Develop and monitor detailed schedules, proactively managing any unforeseen changes and minimising disruptions.
• Effectively communicate project progress and challenges to stakeholders, providing clear and concise reports and updates.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in sustainable retrofitting technologies and best practices, actively seeking opportunities for innovation.
• Promote a culture of sustainability within your team and across the company, inspiring others to embrace its importance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Site Manager in the construction industry, with a proven track record of successful project delivery, preferably focusing on complex retrofit projects.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of retrofitting principles, best practices, and energy-efficient technologies.
• Strong understanding of relevant health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative, while also collaborating effectively within a team.
• A passion for sustainability and a commitment to contributing to a greener future.
