About the role
We currently havean exciting opportunity to join our Team as an Area Business Manager – ChristchurchNorth (covering Christchurch to Nelson). The primary purpose of the Area Business Manager position is to deliver the commercial goals of George Weston Foods (NZ) within your defined area through developing strong long term business relationships in all grocery banners while working within agreed George Weston Foods (NZ) Limited processes and disciplines.
Reporting into the Sales manager, this role will provide the incumbentwith a high level of autonomy, requiring excellent planning and the ability topivot based on business priorities. It requires high levels of collaborationwith our merchandising team business partners to ensure we execute our planwith excellence in the trade.
Therole requires the individual to be very customer focused and comfortabledealing with people at all levels in the business. The ability to persuade andinfluence others with sound and compelling arguments in areas of opportunityfor the business are crucial to the success of the position. The individualmust be a team player who can motivate and interact effectively to ensureoutstanding performance at all levels.
