Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Fraserburgh, Scotland

Are you a qualified and RCVS registered veterinary surgeon or soon to be?

• Are you a mixed, small or large animal Vet?
• Are you looking for a new opportunity in Aberdeen?

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Fraserburgh, Aberdeen for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full or part time with a shared weekend and OOH rota. The practice is also open to applications from part time Vets or those looking for a fixed term contracts.

• Type: Small animal / Mixed / Large
• Hours: Full time
• Weekends: Yes on a rota
• OOH: Yes on a shared rota
• On-call: Yes
• Team: Large Veterinary team across 5 sites

The role:

• The Vet will be expected to be dedicated to providing a high standard of patient care and be able to work well as part of a team whilst establishing excellent working relationships with clients
• The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
• The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

• They are a 5 site mixed Animal practice located in Aberdeenshire.
• They have a large Veterinary team and they are proud to have team members who have been there for numerous years now, with a very low staff turnover.
• They offer state of the art facilities and are fully equipped to diagnose and treat small, equine and large animals.

• They support all of the Vets to pursue areas of special interest and some of the nurses have advanced qualifications

About you:

• The Vet will be expected to be a team player but also capeable of working independently.
• They are open to applications from small, large or mixed Vets.
• They will provide an excellent service to all clients and be able to build rapport easily

Package

• Salary: Up to £65,000 pro rata per annum commensurate to experience
• Holidays: Up to 7 weeks annual leave Allowance

Must haves:

RCVS Registered & Qualified or soon to be.
