Wakefield – Hybrid Working
£60,000 to £65,000 per annum DOE
Full Time – Permanent
Essential – CQC Registered & Primary Care experience
Compass Associates are proud to be representing a highly tuned leading GP federation in the North of England in their search for a Head of Clinical Operations, working in a hybrid capacity to oversee delivery of services. Operating across a number of primary care networks, this provider offers a range of services including; GP Care, Urgent care, NHS health checks, respiratory infection hubs, and a new children's observation hub.
- Salary between £60,000 and £65,000 DOE
- Minimum of 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays rising to a maximum of 33 days after10 years' service
- Buying and selling of annual leave policy
- Company sick pay, company maternity and other family leave pay (subject to service)
- Member of the Senior Leadership Team and Board attendee

Remit
- Registered Manager across the business, ensuring compliance with CQC, the Health and Safety Executive, the Information Commissioner's Office.
- Ensuring governance is adhered to by all areas services
- Building strong relationships and communication with stakeholders, member practices and staff.
- Acting representative for the company in senior / external meetings.
- Escalating any clinical issues to the board and sitting in on board meetings.
- Collaborating with the clinical director to ensure clinical standards are adhered to through the business and action plans are put in place for any areas of improvement.
- Supporting with business strategy and implementation.
- Ensuring clinical and operational staff are kept up to date with their professional registrations and training.
- Promoting an environment of continuous improvement
- The candidate should be an individual who can meet and exceed internal targets, ensure excellent governance and adherence to the external regulatory standards.
- Working in tandem with the Governance department
- Accountable for robust financial management, reporting assurance, and risk assessment for the board.
Requirements
- CQC Registered Manager is essential
- Operational experience in Primary care / PCN / GP Federation
- Proven senior operational management experience, including implementing new services, budgetary control, service leadership, and staff management.
- Experience in managing and developing CQC-regulated health-related services.
- Familiarity with managing through complex and unpredictable change
- Specific achievements in previous roles, demonstrating impact on operational management, budgetary control and service improvement.
- Managed services at a comparable scale and scope including comparable complexity of environment.
- Exceptional communication skills to win the support of key stakeholders both within and beyond the organization.
