Childrens Deputy Manager
Okehampton
Up to £37,500 per annum

This role constitutes a pivotal position at the forefront of a residential care setting. Your primary responsibility will involve actively supporting the manager and the team in the day-to-day operations. This encompasses overseeing staff teams, managing budgets, and ensuring that the delivered services consistently align with established care standards.
In addition to your managerial duties, you will serve as a corporate parent and a positive role model, dedicated to meeting the needs of the child or young person under your care, thereby contributing to the enhancement of their lives. A key aspect of your role is to champion the Physical, Emotional, Social, and Mental Health wellbeing of children and young people within our homes.
Integral to your responsibilities is the establishment of a stable, caring, and therapeutic environment, in alignment with the organization's ethos. This environment is designed to empower children and young people to develop, grow, and flourish across all facets of their lives.
Typically, your work schedule will entail 48 hours over a six-day period, structured on a rotating basis, including weekends and sleep-ins. This arrangement reflects the commitment required to fulfill the comprehensive responsibilities associated with this dynamic role. This will be on a 2 on 4 off basis
