Role: IT Infrastructure Engineer
Salary: up to £55k DOE
Location: LondonWe are looking for a skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to join a well-established Law Firm that leverages cutting-edge technology to drive innovation and success. As they continue to expand our operations, they are seeking a talented and experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join the team. This role will focus predominantly on 3rd-line support while also providing expertise in managing our SQL estate, SharePoint estate, Azure Cloud Services, Single Sign-On (SSO), and identity management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support for escalated incidents and service requests
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve cross-functional technical challenges.
- Administer and optimize the firm's SQL estate, ensuring databases are secure, performant, and scalable.
- Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data.
- Stay abreast of SQL Server updates and best practices.
- Oversee the firm's SharePoint environment, including configuration, customization, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and implement effective SharePoint solutions.
- Manage and optimize the firm's presence on Azure, ensuring efficient utilization of cloud resources.
- Implement and support Azure infrastructure components, adhering to best practices for scalability, security, and availability.
- Design, implement, and maintain Single Sign-On solutions for seamless user authentication.
- Manage identity and access management processes, ensuring compliance with security policies.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in 3rd line support and managing complex IT infrastructures.
- Expertise in SQL Server administration and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with SharePoint configuration and administration.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud Services.
- Familiarity with Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions and identity management best practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, MCSA, Azure certifications) will be advantageous.
