Job description
MLP Traffic Ltd are the leading traffic management company in the East of England. With 4 strategically located depots we also work alongside our sister companies to provide nationwide traffic management services.
We currently have a vacancy in our Maidstone depot for a full time Junior Co-Ordinator. Proactive and organised your duties will include assisting the Depot Manager in the smooth running of the office, to provide front desk support in meeting and greeting visitors and handling calls, processing incoming and outgoing mail, photocopying, filing and scanning documents and general day to day office duties. Other duties will include: · Manage the delivery of all workload through the operational team · Ensure correct level of qualifications are adhered to when programming works delivery · Manage vehicles at operational level · Check vehicle defects and programme repairs where necessary · Review Samsara and escalate issues where appropriate · Carry out regular spot checks to ensure vehicles are maintained to an acceptable standard · Carry out site audits in line with personal targets to ensure all works are delivered to company standard · Working with the operatives alongside the depot manager you will assign mobile jobs daily and ensure all relevant processes are followed by operational teams · Check risk assessments are being completed · Check appropriate site images are being captured daily · Check site clearances are actioned in line with company policy · During busy periods you may be required to support the depot The ideal candidate will have solid experience in administration and strong knowledge of MS Office along with good attention to detail, initiative to resolve issues and strong communication skills. Once fully trained you will be required to provide out of hours on-call support on any day including recognised public holidays.
