Tenancy Services Manager

Up to £51,515 per annum

Could you take on a senior housing role and lead a team to deliver an excellent tenancy and estate management service? If so, this could be the role for you.

We are looking for a Tenancy Services Manager to lead our busy housing management section.

Reporting to the Head of Housing, the Tenancy Services Manager has direct responsibility for the delivery of a high-quality housing and neighbourhood management service to customers.  You will lead on improving services to deliver the best outcomes for residents as well as being committed to engaging residents in decision-making.

You will be responsible for tenancy/estate management, income collection/recovery, tenancy support and sustainment and consumer regulation requirements.

You will be a strong communicator with a successful track record in leading continuous improvement projects to enhance operational performance as well as a good understanding of the regulatory framework.

You will have experience of working in the social housing sector, with a good working knowledge of effective tenancy and income management and experience of delivering a range of related services. You will need to have a clear grasp of housing management at both operational and strategic level.

Given the wide remit of the role, it is not expected that the successful candidate will have experience in all of the areas within the service, but significant experience in social housing and tenancy management is required alongside the willingness and ability to learn and develop their understanding of the other areas of responsibility.

You will be qualified to degree level, or equivalent and will also be a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing or working towards (or hold) a relevant qualification as specified by Housing Regulation.
