Working in conjunction with the Strategy & Analytics Manager, this position will be responsible for providing operational insight aimed to aid key decision relating to the optimisation of our collection strategy and target operating model (TOM), by analysing data and looking for ways of doing things better through working smarter, identifying opportunities for improvement as well as modelling and analysis related to company financial forecasts and new commercial opportunities presented to the business.
The right candidate will also work alongside the rest of the analytics team to support with a wide range of other analysis to improve business performance and operational efficiency when required. Ardent Credit Services are looking for a determined, committed and pro-active professional. This exciting opportunity within a fast moving and dynamic company will require a hands-on technical individual with a detailed understanding of the Company's core processes and a clear passion for accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities: - Creating detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions
- Providing meaningful information and key performance indicators (KPI) statistics across the business by way of the development of an Operational scorecard
- Providing business level data intelligence and forecasting reporting to aid informed Leadership decisions
- Creating regular and ad-hoc reporting across the business related to (but not limited to) agent output, agent performance, dialler output, resource planning, right party contact penetration, overdue account reporting
- Producing trend analysis through the interrogation of collections data
- Influencing our contact strategies through the intelligent analysis of data
- Modelling new opportunities presented to the business to assess the commercial viability of them and presenting to senior management
- Management and improvement of modelling supporting company revenue forecasts
- Providing insights into causes of deviation from expectations of revenue forecasts and new opportunities
- Continually looking for ways to improve models and forecasts to enhance the accuracy of them
- Working alongside the rest of the analytics team on varied analytics works as required, with the aim of improving operational performance and efficiency
- Identify key themes and trends in data and feedback learnings to the relevant teams to enhance forward planning
- Apply appropriate methods to calculate the value of commercial activity both long and short term
- Develop and deliver reports, as required, for overall business steering and decision making
- Build effective and trusted professional business partnering relationships with stakeholders across the business to identify and prioritise improvement opportunities.
About You: Essential Skills - Proven experience in a similar analytical role with exposure to pricing structures and market insights, preferably within debt collection/financial services
- Intermediate SQL skills
- Excellent Excel skills
- Analytical or commercial background
- Clear and concise communication skills, considering the needs of the audience with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Confident and proactive
