Job description
Axcis have a full-time, three week supply Teacher role working with primary pupils starting ASAP. There is the opportunity of a long-term role if you show you can be part of the team and build good relationships with the students. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 3:00 with the possibility of working until 3:30 - 4 if paperwork or planning is needed.
The school is an outreach based school supporting children who have gone through complex trauma and exhibit autistic, ADHD or communication needs. The council have referred the pupils to this school as they may have a large gap in their learning, be school avoiders or be new to the area due to foster/ care transfers. You will be teaching core subjects in a class with a small group of students (no more than 8 per class). All students have a 1-1 TA with them. You will be very well supported in each classroom.
