Planning Associate / Solicitor - Manchester (with some flexibility/hybrid working)
Salary:
£50,000 - £80,000

A new opportunity has arisen, which offers unrivalled prospects for an ambitious, Planning Law specialist.
You will be involved in a diverse range of interesting instructions and projects for clients with vested interests in matters such as green belt land; regeneration and development; affordable housing; listed buildings; change of use; energy, transport and infrastructure projects.
You will play a key, client-facing role requiring gravitas and excellent organisational and communication skills. As well as managing free-standing instructions and projects for clients, the role will also involve you working closely and providing specialist support to the Real Estate, Construction and Litigation teams.
The nature of the role requires not less than 2 years’ pqe (or equivalent) in terms technical skills required but applications at all levels, and from both local authority and private practice backgrounds, are welcome to apply.
Previous experience should include most if not all:
• Compulsory Purchase Orders
• Applications and Objections on Planning Permissions
• Appeals, Reviews and Inquiries
• Section 106 and section 278 agreements
• Highways closures
• Environment compliance issues
