Job description
Join our household as a Live-In Nanny Housekeeper.
A warm and busy family of five living in Highgate are seeking a compassionate and dedicated live-in nanny housekeeper to provide loving care for our children while managing the household with a smile.
There are three lively children aged 7, 9 and 11 with interests in crafts, football and drama, who also have a busy homework and activity schedule. The family follows a regular term-time routine and values healthy living while creating a nurturing environment and structured routine for the children to thrive in.
Responsibilities
Childcare:
• Provide age-appropriate care and activities for all three children.
• Assist with daily routines, including waking, dressing, bathing, mealtimes, bedtime, and school drop-off/pick-up.
• Help with homework where possible and ensuring any schoolwork is done in time.
• Organise children’s school bags and afterschool schedules.
• Plan and participate in enriching, educational, and fun activities.
• Support emotional and social development.
• Maintain clear communication with parents regarding the children's well-being.
Housekeeping:
• Light housekeeping duties, including laundry, ironing, dishes, and tidying up shared spaces.
• Cleaning of the children’s bedrooms and bathrooms.
• Meal preparation, ensuring fresh healthy and balanced meals for the children.
• Grocery shopping and errands (as needed).
• General upkeep of the home.
Bonus: if you are able to travel with the family during school holidays this would be a bonus.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of experience caring for children of similar ages.
• Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Calm nature and discrete while working in the home.
• Clean driving record and willingness to drive children to and from activities.
• Clean DBS check.
• References from previous employers are required.
• Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
