This exciting role offers the opportunity to collaborate with the talented Group Financial Control team in preparing and consolidating financial reporting at the esteemed Weetabix Group level. Your work will play a crucial role in both internal decision-making and external reporting.
Here, you will be immersed in the finance function, gaining valuable exposure to other essential support functions, our parent company, HMRC, and external audit firms.
The ideal candidate will have the important responsibility of ensuring timely and precise group accounting, while also having the wonderful opportunity to actively participate in tax, pensions, selling, general, and administrative expenses (SG&A), and audit functions.

Requirements
The recipe
• Delivering month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting
• Handling the preparation of Corporation Tax returns for the UK and US
• Preparing statutory accounts for all entities
• Coordinating external audits for both Statutory and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
• Collaborating with the wider Financial Control team to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and control through enhanced processes and systems
• Taking responsibility for the timely preparation of regular government returns for all entities
• Ensuring the timely delivery of relevant monthly balance sheet reconciliations
The key ingredients
Must have:
• Extensive knowledge of technical accounting
• Proficient in utilsing Excel, using various systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning software
• Part or Fully Qualified Professional Accounting Qualification (e.g. ACCA/CIMA)
Preferred:
• Group Consolidation, Tax & VAT, Statutory Accounts preparation,
• Audit Experience
• Experience of working in a multinational FMCG/Manufacturing environment

Up to 7.5% bonus scheme

Pension Entitlement: Up to 6% employee and up to 12% Weetabix
Holiday Entitlement: 25 + statutory holidays Additional days accrued at 5,10,15, & 25 years’ service.
Maximum entitlement is 29 days + bank holidays
Maternity & Adoption Provision: 26 weeks full pay & SMP/SAP/SPL up to 39 weeks (after 2 years' service)
Paternity provision: 2 weeks full pay + SPL (after 2 years' service)
