IT Manager

Edinburgh - hybrid working 2 days per week

Up to £50,000 + benefits

Head Resourcing is looking for an IT Manager to join the Taranata group in Edinburgh. This is a group of well-respected talent brands and consultancy businesses based largely in Scotland but with a truly global client and candidate base.

As IT Manager you will provide IT Services and Support to six brands, reporting into the group CEO and facing off to senior management within each brand.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing IT strategies, policies and procedures that align with the vision and goals of each brand
• Managing the IT budget and ensuring cost effective allocation of resources
• Planning and coordinating IT projects
• Ensuring the reliable running of all IT services through the helpdesk including both deskside and remote support
• Evaluating and recommending new technologies and solutions that can enhance the organisations productivity, security and performance
• Securing company data through configuration and upkeep of backup/restore, email protection, access/identity system, endpoint protection, and staff training
• Management of a small IT team

Required experience:

• Experience running a friendly and effective helpdesk
• Managing M365 services such as Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams etc
• Mobile device management ideally using Intune
• Securing email services using anti-spoofing, attachment scanning, SPF, DKIM, DMARC
• Securing Endpoints with central monitoring system such as Defender for Endpoint
• Achieving security certifications such as ISO 27001 or Cyber Essentials Plus
• Managing IT budgets and procuring IT services
• Creating reports for senior leadership on operational and project workload and progress
