We have an opportunity for an
Aerospace Quality Engineer to join us at Honeywell. You will be supporting EMEAI
Distribution Centre operation and will be primarily responsible for the set-up,
maintenance, and issue resolution of part/material quality activities as well
as the maintenance and improvement of the associated Quality Management System
(QMS) processes supporting these activities to AS9100/AS13100 standards.
This is a hybrid
role, 3 days in office, 2 from home.

innovation. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate within the EMEAI Integrated Supply Chain team, interfacing with cross-functional personnel (Engineering, Quality, Logistics) and deliver the Annual Operating Plan to enhance customer satisfaction
- Manage SAP quality function data for suppliers, customers and materials
- Coordinate quality related procurement issues and drive action enhancing key supplier quality metrics
- Drive timely resolution with product holds, quality related purchase order blocks and other sourcing related issues impacting product quality
- Maintain product quality records and technical documentation alignment, support Make-to-Buy process from a quality compliance standpoint
- Working with the Global Supply Quality team, provide suppliers reliable data for all customer returns and internal rejects and drive root cause analysis/containment actions and improvements on key Supplier quality issues & metrics, using SAP and the Honeywell Root Cause Corrective Actions system (eCats)
- Maintain and improve local procedures and supporting QMS documentation for compliance to statutory & regulatory approvals (mainly AS9100) and participate in the development of the Quality Management System (AS9100, AS13100)
- Perform internal audits and support external/regulatory audits, support Quality Management reviews/MRB and participate/drive process improvement projects
Key skills and qualifications
- University Degree in Engineering or related technical field or proven track record in similar position within Aerospace
- Knowledge of Quality Management System applicable to the manufacture and maintenance of aerospace products (e.g. AS9100) as well as quality tools and techniques
- Ability to review/interpret technical part drawings
- Solid written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate effectively to varied audiences and fluency in English
- PC literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and strong working knowledge of SAP (or equivalent ERP system)
