Political Assistant
Full-time, 37 hours per week.
£37,249 per annum.
Fixed-term contract expected to end May 2026.

Our client is an ambitious council that thinks big and lives up to its motto of being bold. They are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and self-starting Political Assistant to support them.
You will be keen to make your mark to raise the profile of our client. You will be passionate about politics. With a keen interest in local government, you will bring your excellent communications experience to the role, including social media, as well as outstanding research and analytical skills.
You will be comfortable working on your own initiative and possess the drive to build successful working relationships, councilors, partners and council colleagues.
