Outwood Academy Acklam, which was the first Outwood school in Teesside, has almost 1200 students on roll. At its latest inspection, it was judged to be a GOOD school with OUTSTANDING leadership.

Outwood Academy Acklam is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed MFL Teacher that loves changing the lives of young people through passionate teaching.

The MFL Department offers French and Spanish therefore successful applicants are required to be able to teach Spanish or French to GCSE, the ability to teach both would be an advantage but is not essential. We welcome applications from ECT teachers or experienced professionals. We are looking for individuals who love their subject, have a passion to develop this in others, and are committed to putting Students First. 

In MFL there is a dedicated team of Directors who invest in staff with support, coaching, mentoring, and a wide range of top-quality subject specific training programmes to ensure that quality teaching and learning leads to outstanding outcomes for all students.

The successful candidate will initially be given a permanent regional contract for schools in Middlesbrough, Stockton and Redcar, and then as vacancies arise discussions with the successful candidate will shape their permanent base.
