Salary: £110 - £230 per day

Are you passionate about igniting a love for music in the hearts of young learners? We are currently seeking dynamic and dedicated Teachers of Music to join our secondary schools in Basildon. As a Teacher of Music, you will have the opportunity to inspire students with the joy of music-making and help them develop their musical talents and appreciation.
Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging and interactive music lessons that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of students.
- Explore various genres, styles, and cultures of music through practical activities, listening exercises, and performance opportunities.
- Teach instrumental and vocal skills, fostering creativity and confidence in students' musical expression.
- Lead and support extracurricular music activities, such as choirs, bands, and ensembles, to enhance students' musical development and sense of community.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music across the curriculum and contribute to cross-disciplinary projects and events.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their musical goals.
Requirements: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Music Education.
- Strong musical background and proficiency in at least one instrument or vocal technique.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students through your passion for music.
- Experience in teaching music theory, composition, and music technology is highly desirable.
- Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity in music education, ensuring all students have access to high-quality musical experiences.
- Willingness to contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
