The Company

This is a state-of-the-art food production / Bio-Technology facility who are working with cutting edge equipment, technologies and processes to deliver the best in class and most sustainable food to the global consumer market. They work with some of the leading distributors and suppliers across the UK and Europe and their facility is purpose built and a true modern engineering showcase.

The Role

Due to extensive growth within the overall business and their flagship food production facility based in Norfolk, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced Maintenance Engineering Manager who will have full responsibility for the skilled team of engineering technicians, providing planning and practical support to ensure the effective and efficient performance of the processes and equipment on site. The Engineering Manager will also have responsibility for key metrics such as MTTR and MTBF as well as primary budget management and CI activity.

The Person

Ideally you will be an experienced Maintenance leader from within a BRC compliant and hygienic food manufacturing environment who has been managing budgets and maintaining statistical and financial records in their role. You will be strategic in mindset but willing to be hands on when required and support the team on breakdowns and installation and commissioning projects. Always having one eye on Continuous Improvement and best in class engineering will be a key to success in this forward-thinking environment.
