Leading systems integrator seeking an experienced PLC/SCADA Control Engineer to join their expanding team. You will work on Food & Beverage projects

Senior Control Systems Engineer

£40,000 - £55,000 + Pension & Flexi-time

Position offers great earning potential for flexible engineers

Senior Control Systems Engineer – The Role:

• Leading role in the entire lifecycle of a broad range of systems projects with a key focus on the Food & Beverage industry
• Develop PLC, HMI, SCADA software – predominantly Rockwell with some Schneider
• Carry out on-site commissioning
• Perform testing with customers
• Production design & test documentation
• Compile training manuals & run customer practices to ensure an environment of continuous improvement
• Clearly define & agree project responsibilities, ensuring all projects are delivered professionally

Senior Control Systems Engineer – The Person:

• Advanced level of PLC, HMI & SCADA software development experience – Rockwell is preferred choice, however open to consider other technologies such as Siemens / Schneider
• Advanced level of experience of Industrial Ethernet
• Several years’ experience of compiling design documentation and control system software
• Sufficient knowledge & experience to carry out site surveying to understand/draft requirements & produce accurate quotations

Located in the East, ideal commutable locations would include Kettering, Corby, Peterborough, Northampton, Cambridge, Bedford & Kings Lynn

The role would also suit an Automation Engineer, Control Engineer, or a System Engineer at a senior level.
