About the Role
The Head of Marketing will lead on the development, creation and execution of a highly effective, creative, and high impact marketing, communications and engagement strategy that builds CHEC’s brand and reputation within the healthcare industry.
The successful candidate will ensure that service users, referrer stakeholders and NHS organisations understand CHEC’s value proposition through effective and impactful management of communications, events, and promotional material. Additionally, the role will focus on leveraging AI and technologies to drive data-driven solutions and implement a Return on Investment framework.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Deliver a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with organisational and commercial objectives and targets.
- Collaborate with the Business Development and Engagement team to optimise CHEC's brand awareness and tailor marketing campaigns to CHEC’s service users.
- Management of the strategic and creative design of all marketing and communications activities and materials including website, social media and video production, public and media relations, brand, and all corporate publications.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve maximum ROI against plan.
- Develop engaging content that resonates with service users and reinforces the organisation's brand, emphasising the use of technology to track marketing effectiveness and position the organisation proactively in all marketed streams.
- Development of a clear and compelling brand narrative showcasing CHECs services and achievements to existing and future partners, patients, and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with internal/external stakeholders to oversee the production of high-quality content.
- Supporting the Engagement Department in the planning, design, and effective delivery of corporate and educational events including new CHEC hospital launches, virtual events, and ex-ternal conferences.
- Monitor regulated marketing performance throughput through regular reports to the Commercial Director on audience reach, target audience engagement and delegate sign ups to tailored events.
- Adopt a patient centric (B2C) approach to communicate empathetic key messages, materials and leveraging service user feedback to tailor future marketing opportunities.
- Flexibly adapt engagement and marketing strategies with referrer communities to leverage increased referral rates.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- A track record of success in a similar role and demonstrable career progression within a service led business
- Proven experience working to increase referrals/awareness through effective marketing for multisite businesses
- An understanding of our sector is an advantage, but not essential
- Thrives working it pace
- Strong collaboration skills at all levels within the organisation
- Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced working environment
- Highly organised with excellent planning skills
