About Our Client

The client is a rapidly growing manufacturing business which have been growing from both organic growth and acquisitions. They are looking to expand their finance team to keep up with this accelerated growth. They are looking for a Management Accountant who will be able to communicate with non-financial personnel as well as being a strong financial modeller.

Job Description

• Analyse key financial information and provide reporting to the Senior Management
• Contribute to the preparation of annual budgeting
• Review spend against budget and challenge key stakeholders on significant variances
• Prepare forecasting to support medium and long-term business planning
• Develop and improve reporting to enhance insight and drive value
• Enhance automation of financial processes and reporting to minimise manual work; creating efficiency's to focus on adding value
• Work with other stakeholders in the business, particularly the Commercial team, to identify new KPI's and opportunities for growth and performance improvement
• Informing key strategic decisions and supporting with project work
• Advising on the financial implications of business decisions
• Support in developing more junior members of the Finance team

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and they will have a strong experience working with Excel. You will have a heavy commercial aspect in the role, so having experience business partnering in a previous role will be beneficial. Experience working in the manufacturing sector would be a benefit, but is not required.
