Job description
Applications Engineer / Project Engineer / Design Engineer is required for global manufacturer and supplier of fluid systems, including Valves, Fittings, Regulators, Hoses, Filters, Instrumentation, Measurement Devices.
Applications Engineer / Project Engineer / Design Engineer will offer technical knowledge on applications such as analytical instrumentation, process instrumentation, pressure and flow control systems.
Applications Engineer / Project Engineer / Design Engineer in be charge of producing manufacturing drawings, project documentation, application and design support, and full technical support.
Package £30,000 - £36,000 DOE

Role - Generating appropriate documentation and quotations for fluid power / fluid systems, Valves, Fittings, hoses, Regulators, pumps, Pneumatics, Filters, Instrumentation, Measurement Devices.
- Supporting the various engineering teams with engineering administration, project documentation, production of manufacturing drawings & coordinating various engineering documentation.
- Interpret mechanical specifications, drawings and schematics to provide quotes, solutions, and accurate information for quotes through to order receipts.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD or P&ID drawings.
- Liaise with the external sales team and customer to ensure all quotations are completed and returned within a specific timeframe.
Requirements - Experience as an Application Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, Project Engineer, Design Engineer, Product Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Systems Design Engineer or similar.
- Hold a HNC / HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related.
- Experience with fluid power / fluid systems, Valves, Fittings, Regulators, pumps, Pneumatics, Filters, Instrumentation, Measurement Devices or similar would be advantageous.
- Having a technical background in Process and Control and Instrumentation Industries would be beneficial.
- Willingness to travel to customers across the southwest
- Full UK Driving License
