Job description
The Woolwich College is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Lecturer in Business and Management/Health and Social Care undergraduate programmes. TWC is committed to delivering high-quality academic and vocational education. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver assessment and examination duties to a diverse range of learners on our Face to Face programmes at undergraduate degree level.
• Provide tutorials for student groups and organise and monitor Key Skills activities.
• Liaise with Programme Leader and Internal Verifier, as appropriate.
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and other administrative duties in line with module requirements.
• Supervise individual/group projects related to your specialist subject major.
• Attend all required departmental meetings and the annual meeting with external examiners.
Position Details:
• Contract: Permanent
• Working Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (may include Weekends and evenings).
Requirements:
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prepare effectively.
• A passion for inspiring the next generation of students.
• Teaching qualification at level 4/5 will be desirable.
• Dedication to achieving the college's objectives despite a lack of appropriate teaching qualifications.
• 3-5 years of teaching experience.
• Hold minimum UK Bachelor and Master degree qualifications in Business and Management/Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Relevant teaching and professional qualifications will be desirable.
Additional Information:
• Preference will be given to candidates with extensive experience in teaching UK University degree courses.
• Support will be provided to those seeking to achieve a teaching qualification through guidance from experienced lecturers and an induction programme.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum Pro-Rota for Part-Time or Hourly £40 - £45 for Term-Time Hourly Paid Lecturer
