Job description
Our client seeks an Accounts Administrator to join their team. Role Profile: To perform the bookkeeping and management accounting function of the client companies. To assist the Accounting Team with the preparation of financial statements, records and returns for client entities and collation of related information. Key Responsibilities: To update the bookkeeping records of entities on a regular and timely basis as required, and to carry out ancillary control tasks including but not limited to: Reconciliation of bank accounts, and investment portfolios. Monitoring the receipt of funds into the company's bank accounts. Maintenance and monitoring of client money records. Maintenance of purchase ledger records. To prepare NAVs for client investment funds. Liaison with relevant parties, both internal and external, to obtain information to allow the preparation of financial statements and returns. To assist with the preparation of management information, analysis, reconciliations and reports and other ad hoc tasks as may be required from time to time. To assist with the preparation of client tax (including VAT) and other returns for review. To arrange settlement of VAT and other tax liabilities of client entities. To file completed VAT and other returns with the relevant authorities. To assist with the preparation and filing of company tax returns. To assist in the delivery of financial reporting and financial management services to the Portfolio. Support Fund Accountants when working for portfolio clients in transactions, e.g. capital raising, acquisitions & disposals. Ensuring the processes and day-to-day operations relating to the Portfolio are effectively performed, controlled to the extent that they are outsourced. To carry out bookkeeping functions including assistance in financial statements preparation, records and returns and collation of related information of clients in the Portfolio under supervision from fund accountants. To assist in the preparation of supporting documents for the Auditors. Providing analysis and support for the management of client companies as part of the NAV process. Providing coaching and mentoring of trainee accounts assistants. In conjunction with the team supporting clients in the fulfilment of their financial and corporate regulatory obligations. Key Skills and Experience: Experience in bookkeeping and the basics of accounting. Be a good communicator and have an eye for detail.
