Job description
This well-established South Yorkshire based firm is looking for an Employment Solicitor to head up the department based in its Sheffield office. You will be Head of the Employment and HR Services department.
The Solicitor will deal with both Claimant and Respondent work as the firm has an HR offering it provides as well as dealing with individual clients. The majority of the work will be contentious, and the Solicitor will manage a team of Solicitors, Trainee Solicitors and support staff.
The Solicitor will proactively manage a varied caseload of Employment matters and undertake a leading role in the development of the department. The successful Solicitor will also contribute to the wider business objectives in line with the business strategy, vision and values of the firm.
As the successful Solicitor, you will have at least 7 years’ PQE, excellent and comprehensive Employment law knowledge, and be able to demonstrate your experience of business development. ELA membership would be beneficial.
