Legacy Events and Digital Marketing Officer Folkestone, Kent (with hybrid and remote working options) About Us Mission Aviation Fellowship UK (MAF) is a Christian organisation that, for over 75 years, have been flying light aircraft over remote locations around the world. Our efforts have enabled more than 2,000 aid, development and mission organisations to provide emergency relief, long-term development and Christian hope to remote communities.We utilise the power of aviation and technology to reach isolated people in need around the globe as we believe nothing should stop people from receiving the essentials of life no matter how remote they are.By helping to link communities isolated from today’s ‘connected world’, we are ensuring that the severity of medical emergencies, natural disasters, conflict and famine are reduced, and the light of God now shines brightly there.We are now seeking a Legacy Events and Digital Marketing Officer to join us on a permanent, full-time basis, working at least 36 hours per week. The Benefits – Salary of £31,500 per annum depending on experience – Annual leave entitlement of 22 days per year plus 8 paid public holidays per year- Close-down from Christmas Eve to New Year with non-public-holidays as additional leave- Non-contributory pension scheme (10% of salary), employees may make voluntary additional contributions- Flexible working policyThis is an amazing opportunity for a digital marketing expert with experience overseeing projects to join our devoted organisation. The Role As our Legacy Events and Digital Marketing Officer, you will develop and deliver our legacy marketing strategy. Overseeing all digital aspects of our legacy marketing strategy, you’ll create engaging content for social media, our website and online events, promoting legacies, in-memory giving and tribute funds. You’ll organise impactful, small-scale face-to-face events, briefing speakers and working alongside colleagues and event providers to manage logistics, resource availability, expenses and transport arrangements. Additionally, you will:- Promote the In Memory and Wings of Hope tribute funds- Support and create resources for our Volunteer Team- Support the growth of pledgers, intenders and enquirers About You To be considered as our Legacy Events and Digital Marketing Officer, you will need:- Digital marketing experience- Experience of overseeing projects and working collaboratively- Excellent planning skills – Effective communication and interpersonal skillsThe closing date for this role is the 19th February 2024.
