Security & Information Assurance Manager

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum

Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week (Mon - Fri)

Location: Cheltenham, GL51 0EX

Excellent benefits package including Contributory Pension, 2.5% Golden Hello payment on commencement of employment and a £2,000 annual retention bonus (pro-rata for part time employees), subject to maintaining clearance requirements.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Security & Information Assurance Manager to join our friendly team based in Cheltenham. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 5pm.

As Security & Information Assurance Manager, you will support the G4S Operations Director and act as the focal point for all Information Security and routine security matters associated with the G4S contract. The role will also include monitoring compliance to the security schedule contained within the PFI Project Agreement. The contract compliance monitoring responsibility being for both the Client location on behalf of IAS/G4S and the wider contract compliance monitoring responsibility on behalf of IAS.

Responsibilities

To manage and co-ordinate all information and data related security matters associated with the G4S Client contract.
Working with the G4S Security Force manager, to manage the effective financial forecasting so that security services budgets are achieved in line with the Business Plan.
To manage an effective working relationship with the Client’s Senior Security Management teams to ensure their needs are understood and met.
To monitor compliance with Schedule 6 Security of the Project Agreement by IAS/G4S embedded staff, IAS/G4S sub-contractors and IAS external partners and sub-contracted parties.
To monitor all Consortium and company Security Clearance applications to confirm efficient processing and that all contractual obligations are met.
To monitor the process for the submission of G4S staff and sub-contractors for Client Security
Approval and Confidentiality Agreement as required in Schedule 6 of the Project Agreement.
To manage the process for Client Security Policy Amendment Notifications as required in Schedule 6 of the Project Agreement.
To provide guidance and support to the Deputy Security & IA Manager in managing and developing the security education and awareness training for G4S staff and sub-contractor engaged on the G4S Client contract.
To co-ordinate and provide solution engineering support to any security projects associated with the G4S Client contract.
To manage and maintain working relationships with G4S Technology who provide technical security systems support to the G4S Client contract.
Line management responsibilities for the G4S Deputy Security & Information Manager (DS& IAM).

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Esssential

Knowledge of Information Security Management Systems (GDPR, ISO: 27001).
Ability to interpret and implement the security requirements of Project Agreement and legal documents.
Comfortable working with confidential and sensitive information.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A customer focused approach
Excellent interpersonal skills with integrity, tact and diplomacy.
Able to work well on own initiative, under pressure and to manage and prioritise workloads.
Must be IT literate, with experience of google software
