Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paediatrician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be primarily responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to children from infancy through adolescence, ensuring their growth, development, and well-being. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with families, offering preventive health services, diagnosing and treating a wide range of health conditions, and guiding them through their child's health and developmental milestones with empathy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular health examinations and assessments of paediatric patients to monitor and track their growth and development.
- Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of childhood illnesses, from minor health problems to serious diseases.
- Prescribe and administer treatments, medications, vaccinations, or other specialized medical care.
- Guide parents and guardians on nutrition, safety, and preventive healthcare tailored to their child's needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, including specialists when advanced treatment is required.
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in paediatrics and child health issues, incorporating modern practices into patient care.
- Maintain detailed records of patients' health and treatment plans for seamless continuity of care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, followed by a specialization in Paediatrics.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council, with a license to practice.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in paediatric medicine.
- Proficiency in patient care with excellent diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex medical terms in an understandable manner.
- Compassionate and patient, with a genuine interest in the health and well-being of children.

Preferred Skills:
- Additional certification or training in paediatric sub-specialties.
- Experience in paediatric research or public health initiatives.
