Job Title: Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer 

Type: Full Time - Permanent 

Hours: Week 1 - 06:00-14:00 Mon-Fri 

Week 2 - 14:00-00:00 Mon-Thur

Salary: Starting salary £32k + OT (Plenty of OT available)

This position offers a starting salary of £32,000, with the potential to significantly increase your earnings through readily available overtime and weekend work.

Imagine a work schedule designed to provide you with a balance of early starts and late finishes, allowing you to make the most of your time off. Week 1 will see you working from 06:00 am to 14:00 pm, Monday to Friday, while Week 2 shifts to 14:00 pm to 00:00 am, Monday to Thursday, giving you a three-day weekend to enjoy as you please.

As the backbone of the maintenance team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Conducting routine inspections and performing preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults in various machinery and systems.
- Collaborating with the operations team to minimise downtime and enhance production efficiency.
- Implementing continuous improvement strategies to optimise plant performance.

To excel in this role, a solid foundation in electrical engineering principles is essential. The successful candidate will possess:

- An 18th Edition Electrical Qualification, demonstrating a thorough understanding of current wiring regulations.
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance role within a manufacturing or production setting.
- A methodical approach to problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety standards.
- Strong communication skills, enabling effective teamwork and knowledge sharing.
