Snr Reporting Analyst, Power Bi, DAX, SQL, Databricks, Remote, Perm £60k + bonus + bens
Our Tier 1 Consultancy client is urgently looking for 2 Snr Reporting Analysts, to join their existing team.
You will have a s trong track record in working closely with business stakeholders to define requirements, undertake data analysis to support decision making and develop engaging data visualisation as well as d esigning effective layouts using Data Visualisations best practises for Real-time dashboards
You will be confident u tilizing effectively the navigation features in Power BI (e.g. bookmarks, drill-through) to guide readers through a compelling data-driven story and i ngesting data from a variety of data sources and performing required transformations in the Power BI query editor using a mixture of utilizing the UI and writing M code
Experience of Data Modelling and developing calculations in DAX which are accurate and performant on large datasets is required as is the ability to d evelop production-ready Reports, Dashboards and deploy to the corporate platform
Naturally you will be a c onfident communicator with experience in working closely with stakeholders of all levels including the ability to advise, train and support. You will have an in depth u nderstanding how the full suite of Power BI products work is essential (embedded, Reporting Services), and a strong background in delivering using cloud-based Microsoft Azure Data and Analytics capabilities, Microsoft DevOps (VSTS) and Agile delivery
You will be a ble to take ownership of problems and requests as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced team, p roblem solving and thinking outside of the box for solutions in delivering reporting is essential.
You will be required to provide mentoring and any support to junior developers in the team .
You will u nderstand the fundamentals of data and analytics processes and procedures, and have u p to date knowledge of latest Power BI features and functionality.
You will be p roficient in writing SQL, DAX, Databricks and M and have an in-depth understanding of how the Power BI Service works.
Experience of using Azure Dev Ops, SSAS (Tabular and Multi-dimensional) , Flow and Power Apps would be beneficial.
The following skills would be advantagous,
Utility with Data and Analytics, Roadmaps and delivery management, e xperience in Microsoft Azure Data Pipeline Development, Azure Platform Capability and Analytics Products and a strong understanding of could-based platforms (PAAS) and data and analytics delivery lifecycle
