As a Care Assistant, your primary responsibility is to provide care and support to individuals who need assistance with their daily activities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients, promoting their independence while offering compassion and understanding.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
- Support clients in their daily activities, such as meal preparation, feeding, and mobility assistance.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Monitor clients' conditions and report any changes to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses and doctors, to ensure the highest quality of care for clients.
- Document and maintain accurate records of clients' care, progress, and any incidents or observations.
- Follow established care plans and assist in developing individualized care plans for clients.
- Attend training sessions and educational programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in providing care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care.
- Experience working as a Care Assistant or a similar role in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of basic caregiving procedures and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from healthcare professionals.
- Good observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations and infection control practices.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or higher qualification in Health and Social Care.
- Experience working with individuals with specific conditions, such as dementia or disabilities.
- First Aid and Manual Handling training.
- Knowledge of safeguarding principles and procedures.
